Data Deletion

You can disconnect any connected social account in one click, which deletes its access tokens and stats from our database immediately. You can also delete your entire Control Output account and everything in it. No copies are kept beyond expiring backups.

When you connect a social account (for example Instagram or Reddit), we store: the account's public username, an access token that lets us read your stats, and the metrics shown in your dashboard (such as follower count, post count, or karma). Access is read-only. We never post on your behalf and we never read private messages.

To remove one connected account and its data:

• Open your map and click the channel card.
• In the panel, click Disconnect next to your username.

This immediately and permanently deletes the access token and the stored metrics for that account from our database. You can also revoke our access on the platform's side at any time (for example in Instagram's Settings > Website permissions > Apps and websites), which makes our stored token useless even before it's deleted.

To delete your whole Control Output account, including your profile, brief, channels, connected accounts, and activity history, email hi@controloutput.comfrom the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm and complete deletion within 7 days.

Deleted data disappears from the live database immediately. Encrypted database backups expire automatically within 30 days, after which no copy exists anywhere.
